Kalea is a busy little girl. She is either eating, sleeping, laughing, 'talking' or having her diaper changed! She is now sitting up on her own and can entertain herself and us for long periods of time. She is certainly an Alberta girl...her favourite toy is her truck from Ty Thiessen!

Yesterday it became official...Kalea joined the millions of babies around the world enjoying a warm bowl of mush! Yup, she took her first bites of rice cereal, and didn't mind it. I was really excited for her to have some, but a little sad too because (yup, I'm a sap) it means she is growing up! Man, I never thought I would say those "mom-isims" but I guess they are true!

We are crazy in love with our 5 month old daughter, Kalea. She is a-mazing! I'm going to attempt to post a video of her in her jolly jumper. This is by far her favourite place to spend her time. In the video, she is laughing and jumping, jumping and laughing. Let's cross our fingers...hope it works!

so, my high tech friend Jinny has set me up with my very own blog...how exciting. I feel as though I am a decade late with this technology, however it's never too late to learn something new.
